February 2012 Meeting

February 2, 2012 speaker is Ted Patlen, who will be doing a presentation about Classic Flies. Ted is a creative and innovative fly tier, and is regarding as one of the greats of his generation.

In addition to his tying skills and creativity, Ted is known for his flamboyant Hawaiian shirts, his wide brim fishing hats and the ever present toothpick in the corner of his mouth. We are asking all of our meeting attendees this week to wear your wildest floral shirt and your most awesome fishing hat as a tribute to Ted. No one has a better sense of humor than Ted and he will laugh at the joke harder than anyone.
