Honorary
Chairs Ted Rogowski and Joan Wulff cordially invite you to join them in
celebrating Theodore Gordon Flyfishers’ celebration of its 50th year
as a champion for our home waters, a supporter of conservation education, and a
sponsor of wonderful events on the stream.
Please
plan to join us on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Union League
Club, 38 E. 37th Street (just off Park Ave.). We will have a
distinguished panel of speakers including John Adams, founder of the NRDC and
President's Freedom Medal recipient, Peter Kaminsky, author, journalist and
conservationist, and Whit Fosburgh, CEO of the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation
Partnership discussing the role of non-profit organizations in the future of
conservation.
The
Catskill Flyfishing Center and Museum has generously provided a collection of
historic flies tied by our namesake as well as Theodore’s vice and other
equipment used by the father of American flyfishing himself. Dinner guests will receive a commemorative
brochure outlining the history of TGF, its accomplishments, and the leaders who
have guided the organization over the decades.
Tickets
are $175 per person which includes cocktails and dinner. For non-TGF
members that price also includes a one-year individual membership.
Also,
the dinner brochure will include space for tributes to TGF large and
small. If you would like to share your thoughts about TGF, consider
placing a brief note (75-words) in the brochure for $100. Or take out a
quarter page ad for ($250), a half-page ($500) or full-page ($1000) ad. With the half and full page ads, TGF will
include your link on our website as business supporter. If you are a
business owner that would like to let those in attendance know your commitment
to the goals of TGF, please consider placing an ad.
