Fly Fishing, Casting for Recovery, USA Youth Fly Fishing Team
Anita grew up in the outdoors of central PA as part of a small family. Her father loved all things outdoors and shared that love with his children. At age 3, her father sat her on the bank with a Zebco rod and reel and the obsession was born. A Nationally competitive athlete, she began fly fishing in '98 and learned about the competitive side of the sport through some great mentors. Anita is a member of Team Freestone, the top ranked competitive team in the Trout Legend Cup series. In addition to the competition side, Anita is also a licensed guide in NY, and guides currently with Beaverkill Angler in Roscoe, NY.
When she's not fishing or guiding, you can find her working as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in on outpatient facility near her home in NJ. Anita is passionate about working with people to help them get back to enjoying life without limitations.
